asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state (a) the quantity of superphosphate imported into the Saorstát, and (b) the quantity manufactured and disposed of by Saorstát manure manufacturers during the period 1st November, 1931, to 31st March, 1932, and if he will furnish similar information regarding the period 1st November, 1932, to 1st March, 1933.

The quantity of superphosphate imported into the Saorstát during the period 1st November, 1931, to 1st March, 1932, was 12,584 tons. The quantity imported in the corresponding period 1932-1933 was 1,016 tons. Statistics are not available as to the quantity of superphosphate manufactured and disposed of by Saorstát manure manufacturers during these periods.
