Eamon de Valera Minister for External Affairs (The President) Fianna Fáil

An invitation to attend the World Economic Conference in London has been received, which the Government are accepting.

The proposed agenda of the Conference has already been issued. The principal subjects are the following:—

I.—Monetary and credit policy.

II.—Prices.

III.—Resumption of the movement of capital.

IV.—Restrictions on international trade.

V.—Tariff and treaty policy.

VI.—Organisation of production and trade.

The Deputy will understand that it is not practicable to have a discussion in the Dáil on the subjects before the Conference is held.
