asked the Minister for Agriculture if arrangements have been completed for the payment to wheat growers of the bounty under the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933, in respect of the 1933 wheat crop; and, if so, when wheat growers may expect payment of the bounty on this crop.

Payments of bounty under the Act in question to registered wheat growers in respect of the Sale (Wheat) Season ended 15th December last commenced yesterday, and will be expedited as much as possible.
