asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if any decision has yet been arrived at relative to the allocation of portion of the Hospital Trust Funds towards the enlargement, improvement and better equipment of the county and other hospitals under the control of the West Cork and South Cork Boards of Public Assistance; and if such a decision has not been made, when it is likely to be reached.

The requirements of these institutions are being investigated by the Hospitals Commission and, pending the receipt of its report, I am not in a position to arrive at a decision as to the allocation of funds for the purposes specified.
