Seán MacEntee Minister for Finance (Mr. MacEntee) Fianna Fáil

The reply to the question is in the form of a statement, which I propose to circulate with the Official Reports. The following is the statement:—

The number of Writing Assistants serving on 1st January, 1937, who were appointed as a result of the 1939 Limited Writing Clerk and Writing Assistant Examination was nine. Of this number, three were unestablished.
