asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is his intention to introduce proposals for legislation to deal with the question of travelling shops in regard to which a commission of inquiry reported to him more than four years ago, and, if so, whether he is in a position to state whether the proposals will be submitted to the Dáil before the Easter Recess.

It is hoped that it will be possible to introduce such proposals within the next few months. I am not, however, in a position to state definitely whether the proposals will be submitted to the Dáil before the Easter Recess.
