Patrick Minihane, Knockskeagh, Leap, County Cork, has not applied for unemployment assistance. An application was made by him on 20th January, 1938, seeking a reduction in the weekly rate of means shown on his qualification certificate, and visits to his address were necessary to inquire into his altered circumstances. Questions arose on the report of the investigation officer which reqpuired further local inquiry. The matter will be cleared, and a decision notified to the applicant as quickly as possible.
