asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what steps are being taken to have the lands on the Dickens estate situate in Currane, Achill Island, County Mayo, divided amongst the tenants.

The Land Commission have under consideration the rearrangement of the holdings on the Dickens estate, and the untenanted land on this estate will be taken into account in any measures for rearrangement; but pending the determination of the character and value of such untenanted land the Land Commission have not taken steps for its acquisition.
