asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defensive Measures if any plans have been prepared for the provision of communal feeding centres in the event of bombing attacks, if any available buildings have been surveyed and steps taken to acquire cooking equipment.

The preparation of plans for the provision of communal feeding centres in the event of air-raids or other hostile operations is proceeding. A survey of suitable buildings is proposed and will be carried out with the minimum delay. The heavier cooking equipment for this service has been ordered.
