Jeremiah Hurley Mr. Hurley (for Mr. Hickey) Labour Party

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each of the last five financial years the total revenue received from (a) bookmakers' licences, (b) duty on bookmakers' premises, and (c) entertainment duty in respect of payment for admission to rececourses.

Comment on this

(a) and (b). The revenue received from Bookmakers' Licence Duty and Registered Bookmaking Premises Duty during the last five financial years is as follows:—

(c) Entertainments Duty is not payable on payments for admission to an entertainment which consists solely of one or more horse races.
