asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state whether there is any prospect that the steel mill at Haulbowline will be re-opened in the near future; and, if so, whether he can state approximately when the mill will be in production again, and the class of goods which it is intended to produce there.

It is not possible at this stage to say when the steel mill at Haulbowline may be re-opened or the class of goods which it may be possible to produce there.
