asked the Minister for Finance if he is in a position to state what amount per head of the ratepaying population is represented by the current estimate of expenditure on Central Fund and Supply Services.

I am not in a position to give the precise information the Deputy seeks as the number of the ratepaying population is not available. But, expressed in relation to the total number of rateable hereditaments, the estimate of expenditure on Central Fund and Supply Services for 1942-43 would be equivalent to about £35 per hereditament.
