asked the Minister for Supplies if he can state how many blankets were made in Eire during the past 12 months, and how many have been exported.

According to the Census of Industrial Production the number of woollen blankets produced in the year 1942 amounted to 172,949 pairs. The returns of production of blankets in the present year are not yet available. No licences are granted for the export of blankets by way of trade.
