asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the fact that limited liability companies registered before 1st July, 1908, are refusing to supply the annual balance sheets to their preference shareholders, he will take such steps as are necessary by legislation or otherwise to compel this to be done.

The point raised by the Deputy is included among a list of matters noted for consideration in my Department when an opportunity occurs for the introduction of legislation amending the Companies Act.
