asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the price per stone paid by Great Britain for scutched flax exported from this country, and the price paid per stone to the Irish grower.

The prices paid by the British Ministry of Supply for damretted, scutched flax of the 1944 crop range from 26/6 to 31/6 per stone according to grade. These prices are paid direct to the growers by the Ministry.
