asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state when it is proposed to appoint a resident medical officer for Kinnitty Dispensary District, Offaly, and if he will arrange to have such appointment made immediately.

The appointment will be made by the local authority upon receiving a recommendation from the Local Appointments Commissioners. I understand that a recommendation will be made to the local authority at an early date.
