asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has recently received an application from the Cavan County Manager for sanction to pay an emergency bonus to employees of the county council; and, if so, whether he will sanction same.

I have not yet received an application. I understand the Cavan County Manager has the matter under consideration.
