asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is now in a position to revoke the Order fixing prices for fish, with a view to securing a free market to those engaged in the fishing industry.

I do not consider that it would be desirable to revoke the Order to which the Deputy refers until supplies of fish have become more adequate and regular, and the possibility of exceptionally high prices in periods of scarcity is considerably reduced.
