asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is intended to include Curroy Factory, County Mayo, in the proposed industrial alcohol beet scheme.

It is not proposed to manufacture industrial alcohol from beet at the Curroy Factory, County Mayo, as all the beet grown in the area is required for the production of sugar.
