asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is intended to introduce legislation for the purpose of amending the law relating to workmen's compensation by removing the anomalies and injustices which exist under the present system; and, if so, when he hopes to have a Bill ready for this purpose.

I have under examination matters arising out of the administration of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934, which appear to indicate that the amendment of the Act may be desirable in certain respects, but I am unable to say when amending legislation may be prepared.
