asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the nature of the discussions which took place recently between officials of the British Ministry of Food and his own Department; and the result of such discussions.

The two agricultural experts who by arrangement with the British Ministry of Food recently visited this country were here on a purely exploratory mission. During their stay they discussed with officials of my Department matters regarding agricultural production. No significant development has since taken place.
