asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the attention of the Industrial Research and Standards Council has been drawn to the reported construction of protein molecules by Dr. Robert Woodward, at Harvard University; and if he will have an investigation made on the economic possibilities arising from any such scientific advance.

The Institute for Industrial Research and Standards is aware of the report referred to by the Deputy. It may be assumed that the institute will keep in touch with any development.
