asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total amount of anthracite coal raised in Éire, for each of the calendar years 1939 to 1946, inclusive; the quantities of such coal allocated to Irish industries, institutions, schools and colleges, and for domestic consumption; and, in the case of industries, the quantities and particular industry to which coal has been allocated.

The approximate quantities of anthracite coal produced in this country in each of the years 1939 to 1946 inclusive were as follows:—
