asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether he is satisfied that the method employed in computing the total output of farmers' butter gives a reasonably accurate figure of the amount of farm butter produced.

The answer is in the affirmative. It is recognised, however, that the output of farmers' butter is a particularly difficult estimate to calculate on account of possible errors arising in those other factors which have to be taken into account and which were referred to in my reply to a Dáil Question on the 28th May.
