asked the Minister for Local Government if a scheme for the erection of labourers' cottages in Kerry has been submitted to his Department; and if so, if the housing requirements of the town of Caherciveen have been provided for in this scheme.

A scheme has not yet been submitted, but I understand that 297 sites for cottages have been selected, and of these, 90 are in the Caherciveen area.
