asked the Minister for Justice whether he is aware of the hardships experienced by tenants of furnished flats in respect of insecurity of tenancy and high rents; and, if so, whether he is prepared to introduce proposals for legislation which will ensure to such persons a measure of security and protection at least equal to that provided for other categories of tenants.

A Bill to control the rents of furnished dwellings is in course of preparation and I hope to introduce it during the present session.
