asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for (a) a daily postal delivery in the Bweeng, Mallow, area; (b) an earlier delivery of letters in that area, and (c) an evening despatch from Bweeng post office on all week-days.

The postal services in the Bweeng area are unsatisfactory, but it has been found extremely difficult to improve them without incurring heavy additional expense. I am, however, having the matter carefully examined with a view to improving the services, and I will communicate with the Deputy when the examination has been completed.
