asked the Minister for Finance if he will state how many men were employed in a temporary capacity on summer work at the Harbour Yard at Dún Laoghaire; the dates on which the men in question were taken into employment and the manner of their recruitment.

Thirteen men were employed in a temporary capacity in 1948 on summer work at the Harbour Yard, Dún Laoghaire. The men were taken into employment as follows:—Namely six on the 21st June, four on the 22nd June, one on the 2nd July, one on the 15th July and one on the 22nd July. All the men were recruited through the Employment Exchange.
