asked the Minister for Health if he will state the amount in cwts. of butter consumed in county homes, county hospitals, mental hospitals and other rate-aided institutions during the year ended 31st March, 1949.

The information is not available in my Department and to secure it would involve an expenditure of time and labour, in local authority offices and in my Department, which would not be justified.
