asked the Minister for Justice if he is prepared, if necessary, to offer sanctuary in this country to the Czechoslovak tennis players, Jaroslav Drobny and Vladimir Cernick, who have refused to return to Czechoslovakia as a protest against Communistic tyranny there.

If these men apply to come here I shall give their applications sympathetic consideration, but I do not think their case is one in which I should extend an invitation.
