asked the Minister for Agriculture if a decision has yet been reached regarding proposals submitted to his Department to carry out improvements to a landing slip at Whiddy Island, Bantry, County Cork.

A decision in the matter has not yet been reached. The site has been inspected and an engineering report furnished. The proposal is being examined in the light of this report. I am arranging to inform the Deputy as soon as a decision is reached.
