asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress has been made by the Land Commission in regard to the proposed acquisition and division of (1) the French estate near Ballybrittas, Laoighis, and (2) the Fawcett estate, Kilbeg and Walsh Island, Offaly.

Proceedings have been instituted in respect of both these estates.
