asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what progress is being made in regard to the scheme for the division of the Alley estate, Knockaroo, Leix, and whether it is hoped to have the lands divided in time for the 1950 tillage season.

The proceedings for the acquisition of this estate have reached an advanced stage but it is not possible to indicate whether or when the lands will become available for allotment.
