Brendan Corish Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government (Mr. Corish) (for the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs) Labour Party

The architectural plans for the reconstruction of Kilkenny Post Office are in preparation, but I am unable to say yet when work will begin. The project will be hastened as much as possible, but the Department has a large programme of building work in hands and there are many offices where the need for additional accommodation is greater than at Kilkenny.
