asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether Bord na Móna have surveyed the bogs at Toureenagreana, Bollaugh, Charleville, County Limerick, with a view to the production of turf therefrom; and, if so, whether he will state the present position in the matter.

I am informed that the bogs at Toureenagreana, Bollaugh, Charleville, County Limerick, have not been surveyed by Bord na Móna. I understand that these bogs are not suitable for turf harvesting on a large scale by the methods at present used by the board.
