asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether any allowance for "broken time" is made to workers on Land Commission schemes; and, if not, whether he will consider making provision for such payment so as to place Land Commission employees on the same basis in this matter as county council workers.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative.

Land Commission workers enjoy no less favourable terms of employment than other State workers employed on a casual basis.
