asked the Minister for Local Government if he is now in a position to state in respect of the 5,200 houses erected by local authorities between March 1st, 1948, and March 1st, 1950: (1) the approximate total all-in cost of these houses, and (2) the aggregate contribution by the State to that cost.

I would refer the Deputy to my written reply to his question of the 28th March last on the same subject. The statistical investigation of housing charges mentioned in the reply is proceeding and I am unable at this stage to say when it will be completed.
