asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the present position as regards the Stanuell estate, Shramore, near Newport; and whether he will ask the Land Commission to expedite the rearrangement of this estate and arrange for the making of housing grants and the carrying out of the necessary improvements on the estate.

A scheme for the rearrangement of some of the holdings on this Estate is at present being operated. It makes provision for housing and other improvement assistance for the tenants concerned. The rearrangement of the remaining holdings is receiving attention.
