asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that the Galway County Council has intimated its decision concerning the proposed boat slip at Inishmaan; and, if so, whether he will ensure that the work is pushed ahead with the greatest possible speed.

No intimation has been received from the Galway County Council that they are prepared to agree to the conditions set out in my reply on 23rd November, 1950, to a previous question by the Deputy, under which a grant might be made for the construction of a boat slip at Inishmaan.
