General Seán MacEoin Minister for Justice (General MacEoin) Fine Gael

I am not prepared to give detailed information in regard to Garda arrangements for any particular occasion, but I am prepared to give information as to the cost of the arrangements in this particular case, which I am sure is what the Deputy wants. The cost was:—

Arrangements for December 11th.

Additional Gardaí at Baltinglass from 12th December to 16th February.

Is the Minister aware that the figures he has given there cover only a small portion of the cost of the attempt to deprive an honest worker of her employment and flout the opinion of the parish priest?
