asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have yet obtained possession of the Potter estate, Castleblakeney, County Galway, acquisition of which was nearing the final stage according to the reply to a question regarding the estate given on 22nd June, 1950.

Possession of this estate has not yet been obtained by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware of the existence of two non-residential holdings of land owned by Messrs. John J. Costello and Michael Garvey, situated at Knockaneel, Claremorris, and Cloonbonniff, Claremorris, County Mayo, and if the Land Commission will have these lands inspected with a view to acquisition.

The lands of Mr. Costello were inspected with a view to acquisition and the Land Commission decided to take no further action for the present. It is proposed to inspect Mr. Garvey's holding.
