asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the area of land in County Meath (i) acquired for division during the past year; (ii) divided during the year, and (iii) proposed to be acquired this year.

The particulars are:— (i) 3,307 acres; (ii) final returns are not yet available, but over 1,100 acres have been allotted; (iii) proceedings are in progress for the acquisition or resumption of 8,401 acres.
