asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that an inspector of his Department dealing with the acquisition and division of land in Sligo has been recently transferred to the forestry division; and, if so, whether it is proposed to fill the vacancy thereby created.

The inspector in question was transferred to deal with urgent forestry work. He will be replaced as soon as practicable.
