asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether, in view of the urgent necessity for providing employment in the Lettermullen, Connemara, area he will consider the erection of a factory for the production of shark oil.

If the Undeveloped Areas Bill, 1951, is enacted any application for assistance in establishing an industry in Lettermullen will be carefully considered. Primarily, the establishment of the industry for the production of shark oil will, however, be a matter for private enterprise.
