asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state when it is proposed to set an industry in the town of Cashel in view of the great unemployment which exists in the area.

The establishment of any industry is entirely a matter for private enterprise. I am prepared to take any action which is within my power to assist practicable proposals for the establishment of an industry in the town of Cashel.
