asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (1) the number of inspections carried out on drapery premises in Mitchelstown during the past six months and (2) the number of different premises inspected.

During the six months ended 18th April, 1952, inspectors of my Department carried out a total of ten inspections of drapery premises in Mitchelstown. The number of different drapery premises visited was four.

Will the Minister say if there was any report made as regards excessive prices being charged in any of those places?

That is a separate question.
