asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have decided to resume the holdings of the late Mr. Martin Acton, Leegaun, Clifden, County Galway; and, if so, whether these lands will be divided amongst deserving local congests.

Proceedings have been instituted for the acquisition and resumption of the lands in question. Pending the outcome of these proceedings, it is not possible to state whether or when the lands are likely to become available for allotment.
