asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state what amount of money is still due to the farmers (being unclaimed through loss of vouchers or otherwise) in lieu of the fertilisers vouchers issued during the years 1943-47, inclusive, for wheat grown by them during these years.

It is estimated that the amount due in respect of fertiliser credit dockets which have not been returned by farmers for exchange for fertiliser credit vouchers under the fertiliser credits (wheat) scheme is approximately £500,000.
