asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state what steps are being taken by his Department to proceed with the land rehabilitation scheme in the Maam area of West Galway, in view of the large number of landholders who have applied.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given on the 5th December last to a similar question by him regarding the operation of the land project in other districts in West Galway.
