asked the Minister for Local Government if he will have priority accorded to the decking of Ballyhooly bridge on the Blackwater river, near Fermoy, under the five years' road improvement plan, in view of the volume of traffic which uses the bridge, which is on a county road.

The selection and execution of works on public roads and bridges in their area and the priority to be accorded to any particular proposal are matters primarily for the Cork County Council.
